Peach County is a county in the state of Georgia. Peach County had a population of 27,981 in 2020, based upon a local census. Peach County's seat is Fort Valley.
The county was founded in 1924, it is the state's newest county, taken from Houston and Macon counties on July 8 of that year.
The county was named for Peach fruit.
